The most disgraced media news network could soon be under conservative management if the world’s richest man turns his sights on it.
As Jim Hoft previously reported, MSNBC’s ratings have completely collapsed since President Trump’s historic victory in the 2024 elections.
For example, Andrea Mitchell is down 39.7%, Joy Reid’s Reidout is down 54.6%, All-in w/ Chris Hayes is down 47.2%. Alex Wagner Tonight is down 53.6%, and Lawrence O’Donnell is down 60.6%. On top of this, several of the network’s biggest ‘stars‘ are facing massive pay cuts as a result of the falling ratings.
The situation for MSNBC is so awful that Comcast is looking to spin off the network and its cables for potential sale. It could even lose its name as well.
Because of this, conservatives have an opportunity to reshape the media landscape. President Trump’s eldest son, Don Jr., shared an article highlighting MSNBC’s misfortune and suggested X Owner Elon Musk purchase the company outright.

Musk, upon seeing the tweet, delivered a telling reply that will ring familiar to those who followed his eventual purchase of Twitter. He had just one question that certainly appeared to open the door to his purchase of the liberal network.

Don Jr. replied that it could not be much, considering the cratering ratings, to which Musk responded with a laughing emoji.

Five years later, Musk purchased Twitter, saved online free speech, and used his expanded influence to help Trump win the 2024 Presidential election.
