Lee Greenwood’s love song to America, ‘God Bless the USA,’ has become one of the most popular songs of all time. It has also become synonymous with President Donald Trump, who plays the song as he enters the stage before speaking events.
Greenwood has collaborated with multiple US military groups. This version, from a few years ago, was from a collaboration with the United States Air Force Band, Singing Sergeants, and Home Free.

The Gateway Pundit reported on Greenwood’s comments on the song becoming an anthem for the Trump campaign as he explained how, although the Harris campaign hemorrhaged cash to pay entertainers, Greenwood has performed the song dozens of times for free.
Greenwood wrote on X, “I have received $0 from the Trump Campaign or the Trump Organization to perform/appear at Trump Rallies or Events. I have supported President Trump since 2015 without any form of payment.”
