In Other Countries We Call This Coup Plotting

The media and the left keep telling us that the Deep State is a myth, and they are gaslighting you. 

During Trump’s first term the same people who denied that the Deep State existed also celebrated the #resistance within government, even celebrating on the pages of the New York Times’ editorial page a White House official who bragged that he was working to stymie Trump’s policies. 

Trump was unprepared to staff up his administration the first time around, and establishment Republicans helped him staff up with people who turned out to be swamp creatures. 

Trump won’t make that mistake again. He has surrounded himself with the cream of the crop–people who risked it all in order to save America. 

That terrifies the Deep State, and they are plotting what amounts to a soft coup.

We are a long way from a hard coup, but when Pentagon officials are having secret meetings to scheme how to disobey orders given to them by the supreme civilian authority, that is, shall we say, insurrection-lite. So much for norms and protecting the Constitution, guys. 

This sort of behavior is treasonous but not without precedent. General Mark Milley–who should be recalled and court-martialed–actually schemed with China at the end of Trump’s first term. I don’t think, from the evidence, that he committed treason, but he committed gross insubordination as the highest military officer in the land. He belongs in jail.

Now, Pentagon officials are plotting again to undermine civilian leadership. This is an affront to the fundamental principle that civilians control the military. We don’t live in a military dictatorship…yet. And for all the talk of protecting democracy and norms, this is where the left is taking us. 

Every one of these people should be fired and blackballed. Every swamp-connected company that depends on the goodwill of the government should be warned that they will get a cold shoulder should they hire anybody involved with these coup plotters. 

This is a lay up.

Next SECDEF asks for a list of those involved in the below conversation, be they two people or two hundred and two, &…well…fire them.

The woke military requires fundamental reform. As things stand, the Pentagon is a money-laundering operation for massive corporations. Its operations can’t be audited, and that has to be by design. Procurement is a total disaster, and while our servicemen are the best in the world and our technology is, for the most part, excellent, the priorities are all wrong.

The idea that Pentagon officials are afraid that a civilian will give them orders and plot to prevent their execution is frankly scary. Do we now live in a country where the Deep State views citizens as sources of money and not the sovereign whom they serve? Do we have a Praetorian Guard which demands the right to install an emperor?

Of course, it’s not just the Pentagon. The entire national security state sees itself as the proper ruler of the country. They spy on us, conduct psyops on us, and hoax the American people. They created the RUSSIA RUSSIA RUSSIA hoax, the Trump stole the election hoax, the Hunter Biden laptop hoax, and countless others. Who doesn’t believe that the FBI is behind most of these White Supremacist groups?

It is impossible to know how deep the rot goes. Getting rid of Mayorkas and anybody associated with him is a necessary first step, but the truth is that every top-level official should go, every DEI officer, every agent assigned to harassing citizens for their speech, and a comprehensive review of every official near the top. 

Whistleblowers should be encouraged. Politicized bureaucrats SHOULD be scared. They weaponized the government against Americans.

It is frightening that our media seem unbothered by this. Their hatred of Trump and, by extension, the Americans who voted for him make it clear that for all their talk about “democracy,” their concern is really about preserving their own power. 

The Deep State and their media enablers seem to view The Hunger Games’s political structure as an ideal, not a dystopia.

No doubt, when Trump comes in and cleans out the Augean Stables our government has become, the media will scream bloody murder, and even many Republican congressmen will scream about “norms” and “stability,” but the truth is that the system is fundamentally corrupt. 

I won’t be happy if the elite are not screaming bloody murder. I want our European allies to fear that Trump will bully them. I want bureaucrats looking for the exits. I want Justice Department officials worried about special counsels. Our enemies around the world are already scared. The bullies in The West need to be scared, too.

Russia is a competitor and we need them contained, but they pose no real threat to the United States and the international order. They are a gas station with a second-rate military. Europe is actually threatening our basic freedom through its regulation of speech.

The European Union and the UK have been leveraging local laws like the Digital Services Act to bully and censor Americans, and that has to stop. I have always been a supporter of NATO, but the power balance right now is inverted. We pay the freight, but they set the policies. That has to stop–or Europe should be on its own. 

They need us more than we need them, and they need to be reminded of that. 

The transnational elite and the Deep State have declared war on Americans, and now is not the time to play nice with them. What we need is shock and awe. Clear out the coup plotters and their allies, and restore the Constitution.
