Guess Who Underperformed Kamala Harris!

Elizabeth Warren represents Massachusetts, so it’s no surprise she won reelection handily in that deep Blue state.

But it is pretty impressive that she underperformed KAMALA HARRIS, one of the worst Democrat candidates in history, and significantly underperformed all but one of the Democrats running for Congress.

Don’t get me wrong; Warren won by almost 20 points, but if you look at the margins in the Congressional races, it is striking that she underperformed them by a significant margin.

It’s kind of disgusting that five of the nine seats went uncontested, even in Massachusetts.

With Democrats winning by 25% to 40% in all but one district, or essentially by 100% in the uncontested districts, Warren’s performance stands out. She did worse than every Democrat, including Harris, save one.

Is there a lesson to be learned from this? Both Harris and Warren underperformed relative to other Democrats, suggesting that the appetite for leftist harridans may be less than the left supposes. The bro vote may have actually chipped into the estrogen supremacy, even among Democrats.

Republicans are fine with voting for women but not voting for women because they have ovaries. We want our candidates to have common sense, look out for the interest of all Americans and not just a slice of us and are tired of being lectured at. Both Harris and Warren are in that mold of woke candidates.

Or, I am overreading this. After all, Warren and Harris were the top of the ticket and many people vote only for the top slots. Swing voters may just ignore the down-ballot races, leaving partisans to have a larger say.

Still, I prefer the first explanation, not because I know it to be superior in explanatory power, but rather as what Scott Adams calls a “recreational belief.” Something that may or may not be accurate but makes us happier to believe.

I’m unsure how to solve this minor mystery, but I don’t have to. Massachusetts will remain Blue, Warren will be in the Senate until she retires, and I will have to listen to that screeching voice until then. So I might as well hope that voters are waking up to the fact that DEI politics is a bad way to go.
