Vigilante ‘Journalist’ Blames Libs of TikTok and Tucker Carlson for Colorado Mass Shooting

A 22-year-old Colorado man, Anderson Lee Aldrich, shot and killed five people late Saturday night at a LGBTQ nightclub in Colorado Springs. Nearly 20 more were “injured by gunshots or in the stampede to escape,” and Aldrich was stopped by customers, including U.S. Army veteran Richard Fierro, before the slaughter could continue. Despite the fact that the motive is unknown and that Aldrich was involved in a standoff with local police last year after threatening to harm his mother with a homemade bomb, the killings are being blamed on “right wing rhetoric” around alleged homophobia and transphobia.

Brandy Zadrozny of NBC News takes the blame further, saying that there’s a “pipeline” of “online hate trends” going from the Libs of TikTok Twitter account to Tucker Carlson and then to “a right-wing politician’s mouth,” and that “hatred” has “real-life consequences.” In other words, blame Carlson and Libs of TikTok.

Appearing on MSNBC, Zadrozny said:

The response is heartbreaking. I mean, it’s a group of marginalized, vulnerable people who are disproportionately the victims of these sorts of hate crimes who are just simply saying, please stop. Please stop making money and gaining political power on our backs, and violence against us. And seemingly the answer from everybody is no, we won’t stop that, because it’s too politically expedient or it makes us too much money and we don’t want to, or we don’t know how.

I’ve been following this since about March and April. We follow, you know, online hate trends, I guess, and since April and March really the LGBT community has been the main focus of this hatred. It starts — there is a pipeline. It starts from some smaller accounts online like Libs of TikTok. It moves to the right wing blogosphere, and then it ends up on Tucker Carlson or it ends up out of a right-wing politician’s mouth. And it’s a really dangerous cycle that does have real-world consequences.”

What she means by “since April and March really the LGBT community has been the main focus of this hatred” is that when parents and politicians raised awareness of the radical sex-ed curriculum being pushed in schools behind parents’ backs, of drag queen story hours at the public library, and that children were being indoctrinated by so-called professionals who believe genital mutilation and puberty blockers are okay — resulting in a massive backlash — that the purpose behind exposing this agenda was to foment hate toward everyone in the LGBT community. Obviously, that is not the purpose, but the only way for the left to continue their campaign of cancellation is to accuse anyone who disagrees with the agenda to be promoting violence.

Zadrozny has a long history of targeting public figures she believes are responsible for “online hate,” whatever that is, such as Tucker Carlson, and doxxing Trump supporters and people she believes are “conspiracy theorists.” As Kylee Griswold wrote at The Federalist almost exactly a year ago:

Zadrozny … [has] literally written the book on doxxing Trump supporters and other anonymous people online. She was a significant contributor to the “Verification Handbook” and has explained her methods of unethically digging up people’s pasts to other so-called journalists.

It appears she uses dark-data search engines that must be paid for, so “depending on your newsroom’s budget, you may or may not have access.” Through these methods, she can obtain phone records, property records, emails, usernames, and even Amazon wish lists, which she calls “a gold mine for learning about what a person reads, wants, buys.”

One woman Zadrozny targeted in a June 2019 article, accusing her of “feeding bleach to her autistic sons,” said her business was ruined and her life became a “living hell” because of the article.

Why won’t Zadrozny stop? Is it the money?

As my colleague Bob Hoge pointed out, while the mainstream media are (justifiably) giving lots of attention to this mass shooting, they’re ignoring an attempted mass murder of LA Sheriff’s Department trainees. A man deliberately plowed his car into an entire class of recruits who were out on their morning run last week. Twenty-five of them were injured, and as of this writing four are in critical condition and one is in grave condition. What led this man to want to mow down law enforcement officers en masse? Was he inspired to take such violent, hateful action by the incessant anti-law enforcement rhetoric one finds not only on social media but coming out of the mouths of Democrat politicians? Zadrozny should look into that.
